Julia Kazakova, GIPP’s Executive Director, shares her impressions at the close of Publishing Expo-2009: "I am glad that last autumn we made a difficult decision to organize this forum. And this despite doubts and uncertainty that reigned a year ago. It was good that leaders of the national and regional markets came together.
"We are satisfied with the level of international participation. When we all shared our experiences, we realized that the industry is not just surviving, it is developing. Russian publishers are becoming ever more inventive in meeting the challenges of the future.
"GIPP is proud that it can offer them the proper instruments and a venue where they can draw inspiration from one another."
