Mohamad Ariff Ibrahim, the chief financial officer for New Straits Times Press in Malaysia, Bun Booyens, the editor of Weg! in South Africa, and Mohammad Faheem Dashty, the chief editor and publisher for Kabul Weekly in Afghanistan, have different views of engaging young readers.

While Booyens has no desire to reach a young audience, Ibrahim and Dashty both heavily contribute to education. Dashty has trained nearly 100 young journalists since the fall of the Taliban in Afghanistan.
