AdX, ppi Media's cross-media ad planning tool for exclusive advertising spots, combines today's advertising requirements in one product. The browser-based solution offers a framework with numerous modules. Apart from the media channels for print, online and mobile, these include a self-service tool and an iPhone app for predefined premium packages for field staff. In addition, AdX supports different types of campaigns and sales situations using media-specific views such as print, online and mobile. Alternatively, it is possible to choose between detailed views of online and mobile placements, and a more general view that spans all of the different news desks for target groups offered by the publishing house. In other words, a solution centered around flexibility and modularity.
- How can I make money from implementing your solution?
An advantage of AdX is the time you save. Customers requesting the availability of ad positions have reported a reduction of 2-3 hours daily. Enhanced scanning of free premium positions and predefined cross-media packages enables publishers to make upsales between print, online, mobile publications.
- How can I monitor and measure the effect of your services?
All bookings done with AdX can be monitored via ppi’s tracking solution jobreport. First results confirm the assumption of higher profits due to cross-media offers. The ad server statistics are displayed in AdX.
- How can I integrate your solution into existing editorial, advertising and CRM systems?
ppi Media’s philosophy is to integrate all third-party systems into the customer’s existing workflow via highly integrated interfaces. It is also possible to integrate all standard ad order entry systems such as SAP, Vi&Va and ad production systems like AdMan.
- What is your business model and the price range of your solutions?
There are two possibilities:a license agreement with the corresponding maintenance contracts or to pay one-off expenses for the installation of AdX followed by performance-based costs depending on the number of booked ads. The AdX price range is variable and depends on the installation’s complexity.
- Which reference customers do you have in the publishing sector?
AdX is installed in different constellations at the Neue Westfälische Zeitung in Bielefeld, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and JP Politiken in Denmark.
