WoodWing's Manfred Witteman is all smiles Thursday afternoon after the company's announcement at IFRA Expo that Komsomolskaya Pravda, one of Russia's largest newspapers, has ordered WoodWing's Enterprise Content Publishing Platform. Witteman, is responsible for WoodWing's sales in Eastern Europe. Komsomolskaya Pravda has a daily readership of more than 3.5 million and is distributed in 53 countries worldwide.

WoodWing's client application Content Station provides users with a central environment for the creation and publication of high-quality content to print, web and radio - important for Komsomolskaya Pravda, which also has its own radio station.

The publisher produces several daily newspapers and weekly journals. Initially, WoodWing's system will be implemented in the Moscow branch of Komsomolskaya Pravda. The order involves more than 200 seats, and the implementation phase will begin shortly. "We're extremely proud to have an important newspaper like Komsomolskaya Pravda select our software," said Witteman, who also credits the company's integrator, NBZ Computers, for the order.
