Some of the industry's brightest materials specialists converged in Hamburg, Germany, on 26-27 May, to discuss and debate the most pressing issues around the topic of Managing Ink and Paper. With rising newsprint, and other material, costs, as well as more awareness about environmental issues, this international conference proved to be an ideal platform to hear and exchange best-practice experiences. IFRA's Manfred Werfel, director of research, production business unit, was on-hand and wrote this report.
